I really how you encorperated your poster to what you really like is sports. I like how you make yourself like a coach and have a clipboard for your theme. And i also like the types of pictures you used as it ties together with the sports theme.
I like how you incorporated the idea of practice with the a sort of a daily checklist and you have listed things needed in life. The different colors really help to get the viewers attention. Also the pictures of you training and doing school work really help to show how practice really does help. Good job for a draft!
Hi Mikayla, I agree with Brayton and Christian that you've done a great job of developing a theme in your poster. Your layout is nicely balanced and makes good use of white space. The font seems to match the idea of writing on a clipboard. I would disagree on the highlighting in color, though. I think, if you want to keep with the theme of a coach's clipboard, it may be better all in black...to that end, you may even want to experiment more with fonts to see what looks even more like actual writing. On the images, I would recommend working with the "studying" one...the pictures are great, but with the black background and collage effect, it looks different from the other two snapshots in style. The last thing has to do with parallel structure. Make sure that the items on your clipboard are in parallel structure. Great start! mrs s
